Website Design for Attorneys
Our firm sets itself apart from other website designers. We offer a unique perspective for attorneys as the founder, William A. McNeil, has launched several websites of his own, including several Internet companies. When we sit down to discuss your law firm’s needs, we understand that you may want to target a specific crime, or that you handle appeals when your competitors do not. We also offer content assistance which can greatly speed up development time since all attorneys are very busy and have little time to devote to writing effective web copy
Initial Consulation
The initial consultation with a law firm can be the most critical part in the development of a successful website. An attorney will meet with you to discuss the goals of your website and find out more about your areas of practice. We will then use that information to create a plan for your website’s success. The planning phase includes:
- Definition of Website Goals
- Keyword Analysis
- Domain Name Recommendations
- Competitor Analysis (up to 3)
- Site Architecture and Structure
- Definition of Website’s Technical Requirements
- Collection of Your Current Marketing Materials
- Acquisition of Images or professional photograpy (highly recommended)
- Content Assistance
Design Phase
Once your plan is put together, we will start to design the look and feel of the site based upon the plan we created. We can use your existing design if possible or design a new look and feel for your site. The color scheme and layout concepts are developed and approved. We make sure your website is easy to navigate, and your contact information is on every page. We will also plan how the site should be laid out for the search engines so your site will get indexed for a high ranking.
Programming Phase
Once we have your design ready to go, we will start the programming phase. We write the code for the website and optimize it for the search engines. As the development of your web site progresses, we start troubleshooting to resolve any problems or cross browser issues. Once your website is completed, you will be ready for visitors.
