William A. McNeil J.D.

William McNeil founded vLawyer Consulting, LLC in 2009.  He graduated from The University of Michigan in 1995 with a degree in political science. He graduated from The Wayne State University Law School in 1998. After graduation, he founded a law firm with his father, John T. McNeil, McNeil & McNeil PLC. After six years, attorney McNeil left to become a partner at Willis & Willis PLC in Kalamazoo. During his time with that law firm, he founded and launched ParentTime.Net, a web application for family law attorneys to track and monitor parenting time in custody disputes. This led him to make the tough decision to leave the firm and focus on being an entrepreneur. He founded McNeil Law Offices, PLC as a completely virtual law practice, with his monthly rent overhead totaling $160.00! He launched another internet company, www.volodex.com, and several websites for his law firm; www.kalamazoo-michigan-attorney.com, www.bmcneil.com, www.minorinpossession.net, and www.michigandrunkdriving.net. vLawyer Consulting was launched due to its first anchor client, David W. Potts, a partner with the law firm of Butzel Long in Bloomfield Hills, MI. His support and cooperation helped to inspire other websites and our portfolio has grown steadily.

James Karban III

James Karban is a co-founder of vLawyer Consulting, LLC. He owns his own website design and SEO firm at www.karban.com. James has been in the internet marketing field since 1999. Since that time, he has launched countless websites and now focuses his efforts on generating organic search engine traffic for his clients and ranking them very high in the major search engines like Google, Yahoo! and MSN. James and William have been best friends since the third grade and both grew up in Paw Paw, Michigan. James was instrumental in launching attorney McNeil’s virtual law practice in 2007 and they have since combined their talents to offer VLawyer Consulting clients the benefit of their synergy.
